Group Exercise Classes
Congratulations on choosing your health and becoming a better you! Here at the YMCA we have a variety of fitness options for every fitness level, and we offer personal training and a 12-week body transformation program for those wanting a little extra help to get that jump start. The YMCA has four racquetball courts. During the year we host a variety of clinics, challenge ladders, lessons and two major tournaments; Turkey Shootout and Carl Myers!

Physician Referral Exercise Prescription (PREP)
After your therapy sessions are over talk to you therapist about the GARDEN CITY FAMILY YMCA’s Physician Referral Exercise Program (PREP). It is a doctor or therapist prescribed pass to the YMCA with full member benefits for either Four Weeks, Eight weeks, or 12 weeks at the discretion of the physician. With the pass you are considered a member and can do anything that members can do. This is limited to ONLY a maximum of 12 weeks
After your PREP pass is over you can join the YMCA and get your first month free.

Work Together, Succeed Together
The Annual Corporate Cup Challenge is a program directed toward furthering the relationships of businesses through healthy lifestyles. The challenge will have around 20 events for you and your staff to compete in...some individual and some team events. Some of the games are wacky and crazy, some are traditional, and some are just FUN!
Teams are formed into SMALL ort LARGE divisions. If you don’t have enough to make a team but would still like to participate, call us and we’ll combine you with another team…or pick your own company to form a team with!
