Here at the YMCA we have a variety of fitness options for every fitness level, and we offer personal training and a 12-week body transformation program for those wanting a little extra help to get that jump start. The YMCA offers several classes as a benefit with your YMCA membership. Not a member? Print a guest pass and come try a class for free.
Land Exercise Classes (Included with your membership)
This low impact class uses cardio work to produce an easy-to-learn and effective workout to strengthen and tone muscle groups. And in combination with Zumba added in you never fill like you are working just dancing and having fun.
Non-aerobic, muscle-toning class, usually focused on core strength. It is a class where you perform traditional weight-training moves in a class setting.
Energizing workout using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over, and around the step.
Yoga encourages movement and the flow of blood and oxygen through the body. Balance and awareness are necessary in order to maintain an active lifestyle.
Specialized Classes (require an additional fee to attend).
We offer classes and instructors at different times throughout your day; these classes not only work your lower body, they are a great aerobic activity. “Make your body your machine!” That’s what suspension training can do for you. It will challenge your WHOLE body by making your core support you through the entire workout. This class is sure to challenge not only your strength and endurance but also your balance and agility. Click here for the flier.
