Jackie Regan, Branch Executive Director
I grew up in Andale, KS and was a multi-sport athlete at Andale High School. I went on to play basketball at Highland Community College and then at Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva, OK. I graduated NWOSU with a degree in Wellness promotions and got my start in the youth sports department of the YMCA of Greater Wichita. I moved to Garden City in 2006 to become the Garden City Family YMCA Sports Director. After five years, I was promoted to Senior Program Director and then Chief Operations Officer for the YMCA of Southwest Kansas. I loved my time working with both the Garden City and the Dodge City branches, but our CEO really doesn't like me to keep the same title for longer than a couple years, so in May of 2017, I accepted the position of Dodge City Family YMCA Branch Executive Director. I am excited to work with the staff here to expand our mission and services more in the Dodge City community.

Stacie Droste, Healthy Living & Aquatics
Hello everyone!! I am extremely excited to be able to fill such an important role here at the Dodge City YMCA! I grew up in the small town of Fowler, Kansas, where I was able to participate in all sports…including cheerleading!! After high school, I continued to cheer at Fort Hays State where we went to Nationals my freshman year. After college, I moved to Dodge City and worked for a home health agency. While working there, I attended a Body Sculpting class with a co-worker and instantly fell back in love with fitness. At that point I knew what I really wanted to do; I wanted teach fitness classes and make a difference in people’s lives. I then went on to get my Group Fitness Certification through AFAA and also certified to teach Zumba. Still not satisfied, I wanted to do more to help people, so I went on to get certified to teach RIPPED. When I was offered the job of the Healthy Living Director, I instantly knew I was where I was meant to be, and I was looking forward to helping more people. Within my first year, I got my personal training certification through NETA and got certified to teach the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program. In January of 2016, I took on the task of the Aquatics Director as well. Not knowing much about the aquatics world, I challenged myself, and am slowing learning what great things the water can do for people. In the last three years I have be able to lend my knowledge to help others and I hope to be able to help many more for years to come. Let me help make a difference in you! I am married to Brad Droste, we have a beautiful baby boy named Broxton and two wonderful yorkies Butler & Zoey. Contact stacie: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Danny Finder, Sports Director
I was born in Madison, Wisconsin but moved to Kingman, Kansas when I was 6 and have spent the majority of my life there. I grew up playing every sport that I could and have always loved to compete. In high school I played football, baseball, one year of basketball, was involved in FFA and was a member of NHS. I graduated from Kingman High School in 2010 and went to Sterling College to play football and baseball. In my time at Sterling, I had the opportunity to play baseball for some very successful teams. In 2013, our team became the first KCAC team in conference history to qualify for the NAIA World Series. Unfortunately, it was not the fairytale ending as we lost our first two games and went home early. I graduated from Sterling College in December 2014 with a major in exercise science and a minor in business. From there I spent two years as a volunteer strength and conditioning coach for the Sterling College baseball team and also commuted back and forth from Kingman where I served as the head middle school coach for one season. In the spring of 2016 I moved back to Kingman to work for the Kingman Recreation Commission and also coach high school baseball. After one season coaching middle school football, I was moved to the high school the following fall where I coached wide receivers and defensive backs. In moving to Dodge City, I intend to use my past experiences to help build sports programs that not only teach athletic skills but also emphasize the development of character traits that will transfer to all areas of life. Karla Springer, Membership Director
Hi Everyone! I was born and raised in another small rodeo town: San Dimas, California. I moved here in 2016. I grew up traveling the world with my parents and participating in many sports. I was a gymnast and an all-star cheerleader my whole life and also played softball. After high school I joined the US Navy where I traveled some more and met the love of my life, my husband Kendal. Shortly after meeting Kendal I went to college, got married and gave birth to the other love of my life, Miss Olivia. I first fell in love with the culture of Dodge City back in 2009 while visiting Kendal's family. There's so much history, and more importantly, Christian/family values that I wish I'd had in my hometown. Out of all the places I've seen throughout my travels there is always one place I feel at home, and that is Dodge City. I love Dodge City and everything it stands for. That is why I am honored to be your new Membership Director. Contact Karla at email@example.com
Kaely Cain, Family Director
I was born in Dodge City, KS but was raised in Bedford, TX. I spent most of high school on the football field marching with the band. Instead of being a sports family, my family was and still is a marching band family. I have been working in childcare since I graduated high school. I have been a preschool teacher and have loved every second of it. After college, I moved back to Dodge City to be closer to all my family here in town. This year my sister moved back to Dodge City as well and lives with me and my two crazy dogs; Chevy and Thackery. I am excited to work for the YMCA and to serve the community of Dodge City as the new Family Director. Contact Kaely at firstname.lastname@example.org.
YMCA of Southwest Kansas Association Staff
Chad Knight, Chief Executive Officer
Being a YMCA rat at a young age and growing up in Garden City, I was blessed to learn many lifelong skills at the Y. I was fortunate that my mom and dad provided me the opportunities to learn and play racquetball, basketball, swim and learn many other values at the YMCA. I graduated from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk) with a Bachelor of Science in Education. My major was Recreation Management. Growing up in the YMCA, it was always my dream to come back and work at the Y. I would always tell the Sports Director, Greg Reinert that I was going to come back and have his job! I was the Sports Director twice before I came back in 2000. to become the Executive Director. Being the CEO, it gives me great honor to lead our YMCA and provide those lifelong skills to others. I believe in the YMCA Mission and I couldn’t think of anywhere else I would rather work! You could say I am living the dream! I can assure you that we will continue our mission, stress the importance of healthy lifestyles, listen to your needs and wants and make sure our Character Counts in all of our programs! My family includes my wife Roni, daughter Caleigh and son Camden. I enjoy playing racquetball, basketball and swimming at the Y. I love to officiate all sports, particularly basketball and football. My biggest thrill is coaching my kids, especially baseball/softball, and other kids in all their YMCA activities or other programs. Email Chad at: email@example.com
Karen Berry, Chief Financial Officer
There are many things I like about working for the Y; people being proactive regarding health, believing in family values and mostly a Christian environment. The Y has given me many opportunities for travel, education and experiences that have enriched my life. Each day at the Y brings new challenges and opportunities for learning. Our volunteers teach me something new at every committee meeting. My co-workers encourage me. In the morning I make an inspirational commute from Scott City where I reside with the love of my life, my husband, Denton. We are blessed with two beautiful daughters, two wonderful sons-in- law, and three remarkable grandchildren. I love every day of being a parent more than the day before and being a grandmother has enlightened me on the meaning of God's unconditional love. My faith, friends, family and church bring me joy. My favorite things to do are learning, beholding nature, laughing, watching movies and reading or listening to books. Contact Karent at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Alicia Johnston, Association Coordinator
Hello there! My name is Alicia Johnston. My husband, Jordan, and I moved here from Wichita in 2007. We have four beautiful children, Kaeden, Millicent, Koehn, and Elias. Two of which are twin boys, that are VERY active! You will probably see them running around here at some point!
I have really grown to love the area and the people in Southwest Kansas. I try to be an active parent in my childrens’ schools and lives. I am the vice president of the P.T.O. and my hubby and I are active coaches in our children's sports. I have worked hand-in-hand with a lot of teachers, parents, and children. I love helping people, and making our world a better place for our children. I think I will be a good addition to the YMCA because I can’t wait to start another day and try to make a difference in peoples lives. (Even if it is just a smile!) So come on in and you can stop by my office if you are in need of a smile. I will be happy to give you one! Email Alicia at: email@example.com
