FLIP ZONE GYMNASTICS
Lead by USA Gymnastics Level 9 Gymnast Trisha Herrmann, Flip Zone Gymnastics offers several class levels based on your child's age and ability. See below for class descriptions and a program registration form.
More about the instructor: Trisha competed as a level 9 gymnast in the USA Gymnastics organization. She competed and placed in the top three at each level in the Kansas State Championships. She trained for 9 years and has been coaching for 15. She has trained with Bela Karoly , USA Olympic team coach, Svetlana Boginskaya, 3 time Olympian, Nadia Comonichi and Bart Conner. Our Tiny Tots program is for 3 & 4 year olds. Students will get to learn in all four gymnastic areas: vault, bars, beam and floor. This is a great introductory class to the many other gymnastic programs that we have to offer. Classes are offered on Mondays from 5:30 - 6:00 pm or on Wednesdays from 4:30 - 5:00 pm
This class is one hour and for beginner gymnasts. All students will enroll in this class and progress as they are ready. They will get to enjoy five exciting events - - vault, bars, beam, floor and the tumble track! Students will learn gymnastic basics in a fun, safe and positive environment. Classes will meet Monday evening from 6:00 - 7:00pm, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 5 - 6 pm.
This class is an hour and a half. Gymnasts will continue to develop gymnastic skills at their own pace in a fun, safe and positive environment. When ready, you will have the option to join the competition team. If you do not want to go to competitions, you will be able to continue to develop and improve at your own pace. Classes are Wednesday and Friday evenings from 5 - 6 pm.
Power tumbling is open to girls and boys ages 5 and up who are ready to work back handsprings and more advanced tumbling. It will meet on Mondays from 7:00—8:00pm.
Team is by invitation only. Once a child has the skills to compete as a level 2, they have the opportunity to learn routines and begin to attend competition.
