Dodge City Family YMCA Seeking Building Supervisor
Must be 18 years or older. Supervisors are needed for weekends, and for on-call situations. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Director.
Responsibilities include maintaining a functional and clean building, assisting program directors with setting up equipment, and other duties deemed necessary by the Maintenance Director and the Branch Executive Director. Candidate should be punctual and must abide by all the YMCA's rules, policies, and mission statement.
The weekend Supervisor hours are approximately Fridays 6p-9p, Saturdays 10a-6p, and Sundays 1p-6p. Extended hours will be required on occassion. The on-call supervisor will only work on an as-needed basis.

Dodge City Family YMCA Seeking Water Aerobics Instructor
The ideal candidate will be 18 years or older and have experience with basic aerobic/health concepts. Must have knowledge of developing workouts and aerobic patterns, and must demonstrate ability to assist teach, lead, and motivate individuals. Hours vary. This position reports directly to the Aquatics Director.
Responsibilities include providing quality water aerobics instruction at various skill levels, following and adhering to safety guidelines, providing proper supervision, dealing tactfully with the public, and establishing effective working relationships with other employees. Instructors are responsible for set-up and tear-down of class materials. The instructor is expected to pre-plan classes, teach and demonstrate in the water, and motivate participants to become healthier individuals. Instructor should be punctual, must abide by all the YMCA's rules, policies, and mission statement, maintain open communication with class participants, attend staff meetings and in-service trainings, ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, understand and be able to execute all emergency procedures, and other duties as assigned by the Aquatics Director.

Dodge City Family YMCA Hiring For Lifeguard Position
Candidate must possess YMCA lifeguarding or American Red Cross lifeguarding certification, CPR for the PRO, First Aid certification and completion of the Dodge City Family YMCA skills test. Must have a high level of maturity and discipline. Hours vary. This position reports directly to the Aquatics Director.
The general function of the job is to provide a safe, clean, and friendly environment for all swimmers, to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergencies, and to perform daily pool cleaning tasks to maintain a clean environment.
Responsibilities include preventing accidents; minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations; observing and enforcing all rules, regulations and policies; maintaining pool to ensure safety and sanitation; assisting with pool maintenance as needed; understanding and implementing emergency procedures; opening and closing the pool; responding quickly to emergency situations; attending trainings and meetings; completing all records and reports on schedule; keeping attendance chemical readings, incident and accident reports; cooperating with other directors and staff in the total development and operation of the YMCA; upholding and exemplifying the principles of the YMCA mission statement and member service program; and following all procedures established by the Aquatics Director and the Executive Director.
