Building for Our Future- What's coming soon!

The YMCA of Southwest Kansas is proud to serve the communities in Garden City and Dodge City.  Our goal is to continually strive to grow and are always looking for ways to improve our facilities, programs, and membership! In 2017 we are proud to announce capital improvements at both branches to accommodate the needs of each community.

After four years, the Dodge City Family YMCA has established itself as a leading not-for-profit organization in Ford County, emphasizing core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring in five program areas: Aquatics, Sports, Healthy Living, Child Care, and Family. To continue to meet the growing demand for services, the Y proposes to launch a $500,000 capital campaign –“One More Year” - which includes these new exciting  programs:

- In partnership with the City of Dodge, build three indoor athletic facilities on land next to the YMCA to house youth programs and serve as the home of the Gymnastics, Cheer and Dance programs.  ($250,000) THIS PROJECT IS CURRENTLY UNDERWAY AND WE EXPECT TO OPEN BY SUMMER 2017!

- Update and renovate both locker rooms with steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, and new lockers.

- Other projects include additional workout space, a video security system, a facility wide intercom system and more!

The Garden City Family YMCA has established itself as a leading not-for-profit organization in Finney County, emphasizing core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring in five program areas: Aquatics, Sports, Healthy Living, Child Care, and Family. To continue to meet the growing demand for services, the Y is launching a $2,200,000 capital campaign to improve its facilities.
