Congratulations on choosing your health and becoming a better you! We have a variety of fitness options for every fitness level, from the first timers wanting to make a healthy lifestyle change to the gym enthusiast wanting a challenge. We offer personal training and a 12-week fitness program for those wanting a little extra help to get that jump start. To set up an appointment stop by the Welcome Center.

Land Exercise Class Descriptions
These classes are FREE for YMCA Members to attend. Program Participants/non-members can pay a $35 monthly fee to attend any and all of these classes.
Just Dance: NEW in July 2018! This fun, dance-based workout was created for all ages and skill levels. No dance background required! Families are encouraged to attend together; the class is open to adults and kids age 8+. This class occurs in the late morning; pick up an aerobics schedule to view class times.
Mix Fit: A quick 30-minute lunch hour workout with a different focus each day. Mix it up with resistance training, mixed martial arts, core, interval cardio and much more! This class occurs over the noon hour daily, Mon-Thurs.
Yoga: Appropriate for the beginner who wants to build a strong foundation of basic Yoga postures and breathing techniques, as well as for the practitioner who wants to refine and master the fundamentals. Yoga, like life, is about finding bliss and serenity in the moment. So come on in, relax and learn to ‘be’ your yoga.
Yoga Light: A gentle beginner yoga class designed especially for individuals ages 50 and up, as well as for those with chronic health issues. Guaranteed to increase mobility, inspire tranquility and promote an overall sense of well-being.
Senior Exercise: A class designed to help older adults (ages 58 and up) maintain their cardiovascular health, strength, and flexibility through various aerobic exercises, stretching, walking, and resistance training. Whether you’re a veteran gym member or a newcomer, we welcome you to come and enjoy the benefits of working out in a group setting.
EnhanceFitness ®: A community-based senior fitness and arthritis management program. Its purpose is to help older adults become more active, energized and empowered for independent living. The exercises focus on cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance which can help reduce arthritis symptoms. The class is held in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages social interaction, which is proven to be a vital part of senior health and well-being. EnhanceFitness® welcomes older adults at all fitness levels and is especially beneficial for older adults living with arthritis.
Zumba: Every routine features interval training where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got a Zumba Class!
Super Charge Spinning 1& 2: Super Charge will challenge you with 45 minutes of heart pumping action that is sure to spin you right into shape. Two classes are offered due to popularity!
Sweating Buckets: Be prepared to work as this class will get your motor running with a higher level of intensity.
Step & Tonight: This class is a combination of step aerobics and weight training and is for all fitness levels.
Additional Fitness Class Descriptions
These classes require an additional fee for ALL who attend. See individual class registration flyer for details. YMCA Members receive special discounts on class fees.
R.I.P.P.E.D.: Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance & Diet. This total body, high intensity style program, utilizing free weights, resistance and body weight helps you to create continuity, consistency and challenge in each class. The constantly changing format never lets the body adjust, helping you to achieve undeniable results in minimal time. No boredom here, for all levels, R.I.P.P.E.D. is effective, it’s tough yet doable, and will absolutely challenge your levels of fitness and endurance!
Boot Camp: This total body workout includes weight and strength training, resistance bands, medicine balls and high intensity cardio. This class will strengthen and firm muscles and improve cardiovascular endurance. This class, with separate sessions for men and women, will gear towards beginners and adjust as the class proceeds.
